Vigla Village Hotel
About this project
The practice was appointed to develop proposals for a new build village hotel resort on the north edge of vigla with views off to Chlemoutsi Castle and Loutra Killinis Roman Baths. A series of independent traditional detached houses accompanied by two swimming pools, a restaurant bar, and a pool bar looking over the islands of Cephalonia and Zakynthos.
Our involvement in the development of this resort facility began with the initial feasibility study. Following planning consent, the concept for the project was born. A detailed options appraisal exercise inspired hands-on, extensive user, and construction management. This process encouraged us to consider life cycle options and focus on the most sustainable solution possible.
Far from being solely a resort facility, the development also includes a reception area, outdoor facilities (playgrounds, tennis, horse riding adventures, etc.) as well as an extensive parking area.
